Blueberry Antioxidant Face and Body Mask

Glycolic Acid Peel 70% and Vitamin C
Today I made a new face and body mask for myself. I combined a few things that I know to be very good for the skin. Glycolic Acid, L-Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C), and plain yogurt. Yogurt and milk products contain lactic acid, also great for chemically exfoliating the skin.

The black cherry contains vitamin C which is great for the skin. I added my own L-Ascorbic Acid as well. Blueberries are powerful antioxidants. I eat them almost every day.

Here is how I made the blueberry black cherry glycolic acid vitamin C face and body mask. (that is quite a name!) I think I need to shorten it.

Always store masks with antioxidants in a dark container

Layer One - pink face

This mask was not exactly comfortable, that is because I added about twenty drops of Glycolic Acid. The acid breaks apart the glue that holds dead cells together. Then, the Vitamin C will easily penetrate the cells. Anyone who has put Ascorbic Acid on their face knows that it is not very comfortable either. With the dermabrasion crystals, I rubbed it gently into my skin. The exfoliation is a combination of physical and chemical. I am going to work on this mask a little before making it available to my customers.
